I did not want to run this morning but I made my brain shut up and I did it. 42 minutes. Man does that seem like a long time, but, it’s 3 minutes less than usual which is pretty good I think.

As of yesterday I’ve started my diet for the year. It’s not anything hardcore…I’m just eating a lot better (which can be very hard in the caf). I’m basically making sure I eat half a plate of veggies, quarter starch, and a quarter protein each meal. Throughout the day I try to eat at least 3-4 pieces of fruit. I hate feeling guilty after I eat. :( Nicole went running with me today. She told me I’m not as slow as I think I am…that made me feel better. I was supposed to run 2 miles and i got to 1.5 and my back started hurting pretty bad so we walked the rest of the way…and by rest of the way I mean to Pagoda to get thai food. aaaaand now i feel guilty for eating…wtf.

It’ so freaking hot out this morning. I just came back from my 2 mile run, dripping with sweat and downing some ice water. Seriously though, so hot!
